Materials & Care

The first plate. features a ceramic eating surface surrounded by a removable silicone sleeve. Only the ceramic surface comes into contact with food.

Care: Remove the silicone sleeve from the ceramic for thorough cleaning. Both pieces are dishwasher safe.

Microwave: Microwave safe. Always check the temperature of the plate and food before serving.

As with any ceramic product, inspect the plate regularly and discontinue use if it becomes cracked, chipped, or damaged.

Safety: Made with little eaters in mind, the first plate. is tested to applicable U.S. safety requirements for children's products and food-contact materials, including applicable CPSIA/CPSC and FDA requirements.

Fantastic product!
The concept of this plate is magical! After dealing with plates and bowls landing on the floor, being worn as hats and turned into UFOs this plate is absolutely inspired. This is my go to baby shower gift! Reasonably priced and very high quality.

My daughter is 8 months old and LOVES to throw everything, so finding a plate that actually stays put has been a game changer! The suction on this plate is incredible! She hasn’t been able to move or flip it, which makes mealtime so much easier. The quality is amazing and it has all the features you want in a baby plate. My 8 month old daughter loves her firstbite plate. Silicone absorbs flavor over time, making this the perfect product not only for beginning solids, but a long term use product for growing up. It’s also easier to use than traditional products on the market. I think it’s the perfect gift for any expecting family. Love that it’s woman owned and operated as well.
